| Representing his Latin American Roots Evoking the influence of legendary guitarist Carlos Santana and popular folk players, Guillermo Serpas produces the electrifying rhythms of salsa, Latin jazz, and bolero, representing his Latin American roots and pumping vigorous life into his virtuoso classical-guitar performances. |
| The Flamenco Connection One of Guillermo's greatest passions has always been Flamenco. He has recently learned the art of Flamenco accompaniment for dancers, under the tutoring of internationally known Spanish dancer/instructor Raquel Tacon, from Valladolid, Spain. Within a fairly short period of time, Guillermo has performed extensively with Raquel's Flamenco group. In January of 2004 he performed in "España", and in April 2005 in "Entre Amigos", two very successful Spanish concerts, both organized by Raquel Tacon. |
